So many people don’t have shelter, food, healthcare or employment and I realize writing a blog and having a website is a luxury. This pandemic has increased the need to focus all our attention and action to create a more equitable world.

Poetry and photography can change and soothe human hearts. It’s my hope and desire that my words and photographs reflect an honest view of what I see and experience in my life which others can relate to.

I read poetry for comfort, joy and inspiration. Writing and reading poetry
increases my self-awareness and insight into others’ lives. Taking photographs of nature reveals the extraordinary. When in nature I feel connected to everyone and every living thing which validates my presence on this earth and encourages me to be an active participant.

May we all leave tracks and trails of beauty.
